It will take you two hours to drive from Grunau to the Fish River Canyon. This is the world's second largest Canyon and a must see destination. Ai-Ais Resort with its natural mineral hot springs and excellent accommodation it is a perfect place to spend a few days. If you decide to visit the Caprivi, you might skip Grunau and to overnight at the Quivertree Forest Rest Camp near Keetmanshoop and 140 km north of Grunau. They offer self-catering accommodation, but they also serve meals in their restaurant.
